What dates are the Fair?
The dates for the Gaston All American Fair are June 15-24, 2018.
What times does the Fair start/stop?
Because there is an opening and closing festival with special nights during the week there are multiple start and stop times. Please refer to our "Schedule" page for exact times for each day and each event.

Will there be fireworks?
YES, YES, and YES! The Gaston All American Fair is planning the best fireworks show to be held all season. The fireworks will be visible from the mall parking lot and also at various locations along Franklin Blvd and New Hope Rd.
Is this the former Gastonia July 4th Festival?
Yes. Sassy Southern (formerly Events on Main) is the Gaston All American Fair producer. They formerly produced the Gastonia July 4th Festival but due to recent changes by the Gastonia City Council a new location was needed. The Gastonia July 4th Festival is now the Gaston All American Fair and the location and dates have changed as well. The new Fair will be bigger, better, and longer with all of the same events you have come to love and we have even added more.
How do I become a vendor?
Anyone wanting to be a vendor must fill out an online form. Click on the "Vendor Application" tab and fill out the form. THIS IS THE ONLY METHOD ACCEPTED.
How do I become a sponsor?
We have an online "Sponsor Application" but if you are interested in sponsoring an event or an entire evening you can email eomgastonia@yahoo.com and a staff member will call you to discuss the options available. We always appreciate all of our sponsors and welcome new ones.
Will there be carnival rides?
The carnival rides this year will be bigger, better, and more of them. We will have rides that you expect at a Countywide Fair and you will really like the additions for 2018!
What does it cost to enter - admission?
Entry into the Gaston All American Fair is FREE! THere are items that will have a fee but many events are FREE and so is the admission!
Will the City of Gastonia have fireworks?
Sassy Southern and the Gaston All America Fair are not affiliated with the City of Gastonia and do not know their plans for a festival or fireworks.
How do I suggest an idea for the Fair?

Why is the Fair not on July 4th?
The City of Gastonia changed their policies only just recently and the ride operator, fireworks, and other things such as musical acts were already committed to other events when we were forced to make the change to our festival. In order to bring the best that is possible for a fair, we needed to change the dates and location.
Do my tax dollars pay for the fair?
Gastonia citizen's taxes have NEVER ever paid for any of the production of the events on July 4th organized by us and they are not being used for the fair. All expenses for the fair are paid by vendor fees and sponsors. We work very hard to bring the citizens a FREE event with no cost to the city or county.
Will there be food at the Fair?
Plenty of food will be available during the fair from vendors, food trucks, and also the Food Court in Eastridge Mall will be open.
How do I enter one of the contests?
Once a contest is finalized, a link will be provided on the website for an electronic form. Click on the "Schedule" tab and then click on "Special Events". You can also get to an event page by clicking on the item from the "Schedule" page.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs that are leashed and have all the required shots and vaccinations per County regulations are allowed in the Fair. Plese be advised that YOU ae responsible for your pet and any damage or harm that they may casue to property or persons. You MUST pick up any dog poop and pets are not allowed to urinate inside the Fair boundries.
How do I make a complaint?
Email eomgastonia@yahoo.com and it will be addressed by the owner of Sassy Southern, the producer of the festival. The owner will contact you in a timely manner.
Can vendors get a refund after they have paid?
There are absolutely no refunds after May 1, 2018. Prior to May 1 please email eomgastonia@yahoo.com and your request will be evaluated. Refunds are on a case by case basis.
